Porcelain Veneers

Porcelain veneers are the most conservative esthetic restorations available in dentistry today. A thin layer of the front of the tooth is removed to allow a veneer of porcelain to be bonded to the tooth without making it any thicker. Similar in a way, to a fake fingernail, the veneer covers dark or yellow teeth, unsightly gaps, lengthens short of stubby teeth, straightens crooked teeth, and in general creates a more attractive smile. Unlike a false fingernail, veneer are more permanent. The veneers are attached to the teeth using the most advanced methods of bonding and adhesive dentistry.

Bridges

A Bridge is a custom fixed prosthetic device anchored to neighboring teeth that replaces one or more missing teeth. When a lost tooth is replaced with bridgework, the teeth on either side of the missing tooth are prepared as crowns to serve as abutments to hold the prosthetic (replacement) tooth in place. Crowns and bridges are most commonly prepared from high quality materials such as semi-precious or precious metals, porcelain or a fused combination of the two. Implants

Old, silver amalgams have multiple disadvantages; silver amalgam is a metal that expands and contracts with the hot, cold and biting. Therefore, with every meal the teeth are being weakened. Over time and depending on the size of the filling the tooth becomes susceptible to fracturing. Silver amalgam also contains mercury, which is a very toxic element. Non-Metal fillings are the healthy, safe alternative to reconstructing teeth to a beautiful smile.

Onlays & Inlays

Inlays and onlays make it possible to replace old, unsightly, silver fillings with beautiful tooth-colored restorations, designed perfectly to match your natural teeth. With inlay or onlay technology we can create porcelain restorations that revive your natural strength, wear, function and appearance. With these new materials, it is possible to bond teeth back together, virtually restoring them to their virgin strength without invasive techniques.

Teeth Whitening

People with stained or discolored teeth may just need a whitening procedure in order to restore their smile. Teeth whitening is a safe and effective way to brighten stained, discolored or dull teeth. Teeth bleaching products, which contain peroxides, actually change your natural tooth color anywhere from five to seven –but even up to twelve – shades brighter. Bonding

The application of tooth-colored filling material (composite) to the teeth has been a dental technique for many years. Recent advances have increased the strength, durability and longevity of these restorations. Bonding material can be molded and shaped to achieve outstanding results including tooth lightening, closing spaces between teeth, making teeth appear straighter and repairing chips and cracks. When polished, it gives the appearance of natural tooth structure.

Inlay/Onlay Porcelain Crowns

Crowns are meant to cover damage teeth, protecting the remaining portion of the natural tooth and retaining natural appearance. We can make gorgeous custom porcelain crowns or restorations after an initial consultation and with a simple impression.

Restorations, depending on the state of the tooth, can be performed in a single session, usually in an hour, or with an additional sitting.

Our restorative crowns are metal-free and serve to fortify your smile without the typical discoloration brought by dark silver and mercury materials used in dental practices of the past. The porcelain material we use is compatible with the tissue in your mouth, high-grade, anti-abrasive, and plaque-resistant.

Root Canal Therapy

With today’s modern dental techniques, having root canals done by a dentist is no longer a scary experience. Dr Gino is experienced in performing root canal therapy. Extensive decay, an accident, tooth fracture or gum disease can kill teeth and cause a root canal symptom such as root canal pain or dental abscess. However, regardless of the root canal cause, your teeth can be saved using modern therapy to do root canal treatment.

Extractions

The last resort for badly traumatized and decayed teeth, extractions are a process seldom recommended but sometimes necessarily performed by Dr. Gino. Often extractions may lead to implants and further cosmetic dentistry, resulting in full-mouth restorations.

Dental bridges may also be applied after teeth extractions, replacing one or two missing teeth, making your smile whole again.
